Klavissimo can act as a moving music stand without a MIDI connection. The player offers two different paths for an acoustic piano.
“Keep the tempo” starts after the count-in and advances the score at the chosen tempo. If you pause, the display keeps moving. This mode does not need the microphone.
Following is still experimental
“Follow your playing” listens for your notes through the microphone and tries to keep the playing position in view. It needs a quiet room where the piano is the main sound. Speech, a television or another instrument can confuse it. If it loses your place, “Keep the tempo” remains the reliable path.
Microphone use is optional. Klavissimo hears nothing without permission; for child profiles, a parent must allow listening first.
