You can pair a Bluetooth MIDI keyboard directly in the Klavissimo app. You no longer need another music app to make the first connection.
Choose “Digital piano” in your profile. While no instrument is connected, “Connect Bluetooth keyboard” appears on the home screen and in the instrument check. The button opens Apple’s Bluetooth MIDI list. Select your keyboard there, then close the list.
Check the connection in Klavissimo
The device name and connection status appear after pairing without an app restart. In the instrument check, you can test keys, touch response and any pedal data sent by your keyboard. A previously paired keyboard reconnects after you restart the app.
Pairing is available in the native Klavissimo app for iPhone and iPad. The button does not appear in Safari or Chrome. Bluetooth MIDI also carries control data from the instrument; it is not the same as the audio connection used by Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
