If the built-in sounds aren't what you want for an accompanying voice, load your own SoundFont file in the "Sound per voice" panel — one per voice.
Choose your own file
In the voice's dropdown, choose "Own file…" — that opens your device's normal file dialog. Klavissimo accepts .sf2 and .sf3 files.
Choose a preset
After picking the file, Klavissimo shows its name and, underneath, "· Choose preset" with every sound preset from the file — SoundFonts often bundle several instruments into a single file, so you pick the right one deliberately. While Klavissimo trims the file down to that one preset, it briefly shows "Shrinking …".
Ready & removing it again
Once it's done, the voice shows "✓ [file name] is ready". "Remove" undoes the choice — the voice automatically falls back to its built-in sound source, nothing is left silent.
Large files need a moment
Very large SoundFonts take noticeably longer to trim. There is a firm upper limit regardless: "The file is too large (max 512 MB)." — this limit protects the app from unusually large files; ordinary SoundFonts stay well under it.
Your data:
Your file never leaves the browser — it's never uploaded anywhere, not even to Klavissimo itself. The result trimmed to one preset stays local in your browser storage, kept separate per profile and voice — unless you've set up device sync (Plus): then it travels along, encrypted, to your other paired devices.

Your own SoundFonts only apply to ensemble accompanying voices (violin, cello, clarinet) — your own piano playing always stays the built-in Salamander grand.
