Klavissimo now has 189 built-in pieces. The seven Haydn movements come from his early sonatas (Hob. XVI:3, 4, 6 and 14), engraved from the complete edition published by Breitkopf & Härtel, Leipzig 1918. They are joined by nine more Handstücke by Daniel Gottlob Türk, from the second edition of 1797.
The nine Türk pieces
“Innocence”, “Contentment” and “Cheerful Spirit” are on level 3. “The Good-Natured One”, “The Rondo in Miniature”, the “Minuet, As It Should Really Be”, “The Ballet” and the “Evening Song of a Knight in the Forest” are on level 4. “Noble German Song” is on level 5.
The seven Haydn movements
The four Minuet and Trio movements (Hob. XVI:3, 4, 6 and 14) are on levels 4 to 6. The Andante from Hob. XVI:3 is on level 4; the two fast Allegro movements from Hob. XVI:3 and 4 are on level 6. Trills and grace notes come up often here; playback plays them out.
Levels and tempo
All 16 are optional; you don’t need any of them to complete a level. The prints give only tempo words, no metronome marks. The tempo in Klavissimo is a suggestion; change it with the tempo slider.
