What the AI receives — and what it never does
Does the AI ever hear my recordings? Never. Klavissimo draws a hard line between what you play on the piano and what the AI tutor ever gets to see — and that line isn't just a promise, it's built into the data format itself.
Gets
- Scores & levels — accuracy, timing and overall result of every session
- Bar statistics — how well each bar went, as a number, never as a note
- The exercise or piece title, plus tempo, hand and the practised range
- The last up to 5 attempts at the same exercise, for comparison
Never
- your sheet music or your MusicXML
- recordings or a microphone signal
- your name, your email or your profile
- imported pieces themselves — only their title
Enforced technically, not just promised
The data format used to talk to the AI tutor at all allows exclusively the fields listed above — any extra or unknown field is strictly rejected. Your sheet music or a recording simply can't fit in there structurally, it's not just "usually left out".
Checked against every change
An automated test compares the full list of allowed fields against a fixed list on every code change — if a new field shows up that sounds like notes, audio, names or raw key data, the test deliberately fails before anything like that could ever go live.
Applies per profile, default: off
The AI tutor is switched on or off separately for each profile, default is off. Before turning it on for the very first time, Klavissimo explicitly asks — with exactly the statement in the table above.
