Create your profile

Klavissimo starts with no account, no email address and no password. A short chat with the assistant is all it takes — under two minutes.

1

Choose child or adult

The assistant first asks who's playing here: "A child" (explained kindly & playfully) or "An adult" (matter-of-fact & to the point). This only changes the tone of the explanations — the exercises, the placement test and the scoring stay identical either way.

2

Enter a name — or don't

A name is all the assistant needs to greet you by. Would you rather stay anonymous? Just leave it blank and carry on without one.

3

Confirm the profile card

The assistant then shows your new profile card with your name, an initial avatar and the tone of address you chose. If it all looks right, "Good, next ▶" moves you on to the instrument step — and you can change the name any time via "Change name".

Your data:

Your profile stays local on this device — there is no cloud sign-in and no account. Only once you connect does anything leave your device: joining a family or class shares a name you choose yourself, and the server can read it. A device sync (Plus) you set up yourself works differently — it places your profile on your own devices, end-to-end encrypted, so the server can't read it. You can still take your profile with you: under "Data & privacy" (⚙ Settings), "Backup" saves all your profiles to a single file for the other device.

Good to know:

Several people sharing the same piano? Everyone sets up their own profile — switch between them any time, and nobody's progress gets mixed up.
